Vanilla Pancakes

Vanilla Pancakes

A heavenly oven pancake with the taste of semolina and vanilla.

Ingredients

Semi-skimmed milk
800 ml
Semolina
150 g
Salt
tsp
Eggs
2
Caster sugar
2 tbsp
Vanilla sugar
1 tsp
Vanilla quark
250 ml
Berries
200 g

Instructions

Step 1

  • Heat the oven to 200 °.

Step 2

  • Grease an ovenproof dish, about 22 cm in diameter.

Step 3

  • Boil the milk in a saucepan. Remove the pan from the heat. Put in the semolina and salt. Boil under low heat for about 4 minutes.

Step 4

  • Remove the pan from the heat again. Whisk together and stir in eggs, caster sugar and vanilla sugar.

Step 5

  • Pour the batter into the greased ovenproof dish and bake in the lower part of the oven for about 35 minutes.

Step 6

  • Allow to cool and dust over with some vanilla sugar. Serve the panna cotta lukewarm with a dollop of quark and berries or jam.
