Tomato Sauce

Are poultry, pork or beef on the menu tonight? If so, why not try this tasty and delicious recipe for tomato sauce that is quick to make.

Ingredients

Butter
25 g
Coarsely Chopped red onions
2
Coarsely chopped tomatoes
2
Dried fresh basil
tsp
Coarse salt
tsp
Fresh pepper
Vegetable bouillon
150 g
Creme fraiche
150 ml
Wheat flour
2 tsp

Instructions

Step 1

  • Cook the red onions in butter in a thick-bottomed pan.

Step 2

  • Add tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper and sweat for a short time.

Step 3

  • Pour the stock in. Stir in the crème fraîche with flour and add the mixture to the sauce. Cook it well and taste.

The sauce is great for fried poultry or fried pork and beef.
