Strawberry Mousse

Strawberry Mousse

Strawberry mousse made with the classic combination of sweet strawberries and cream. A delicious summer dessert that tastes great and requires only four ingredients.

Ingredients

Gelatine Sheets
3
Strawberries
450 g
Icing sugar
75 g
Whipped cream
250 ml

Instructions

Step 1

  • Soak the gelatine in cold water for approximately 10 minutes.

Step 2

  • Clean the strawberries and remove 75 g (approximately 6 pieces) for decoration. Blend the remaining strawberries with icing sugar into a smooth purée.

Step 3

  • Remove the gelatine from the water, with the water hanging on and melt it in a bowl over a water bath. Stir in a little strawberry purée into the melted gelatine and fold in the remaining strawberry purée.

Step 4

  • Beat the cream into a light froth and gently turn it into the strawberry purée. Distribute the mousse into 6 glasses and place them covered in a cold place for approximately 2 hours.

Step 5

  • Cut the remaining strawberries into slices and decorate the mousse before serving.
