Puff Pastry Hearts With Raspberries
Lovely puff pastry hearts with sweet raspberries on a soft bed of fresh, vanilla-flavoured quark.
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the oven to 225 C.
Step 2
Using a cookie cutter, cut out 12 hearts from the puff pastry. Place them on a sheet of baking paper.
Step 3
Brush with a beaten egg. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the pastries are a nice, golden colour.
Step 4
Allow them to cool and then cut off the top of the hearts to use as lids.
Step 5
Distribute quark on the bottom of the pastry before adding the berries and the lids on top. To finish, dust with plenty of icing sugar.
