Potato Casserole

Potato Casserole

Potato casserole with celeriac and leek is creamy, delicious and easy to prepare. Try adding sausages or ham.

Ingredients

Main Dish

Butter
25 g
Coarse Grained celeriac
½
Potatoes In Cubes
800 g
Vegetable bouillon
400 ml
Coarse salt
1½ tsp
Leeks In Thick Slanted Slices
3
Single Cream
100 ml
Pepper
1 tsp

Garnish

Chopped Fresh Bunch Of fresh parsley
1 handful

Additions

Fried sausages
400 g
Pickled beets
200 g

Instructions

Step 1

  • Melt butter in a pan at high heat, without burning. Sweat the celery in the butter.

Step 2

  • Add potatoes, stock and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer on low heat under a lid for approximately 20 minutes.

Step 3

  • Add the leeks and cream. Bring to the boil again and let it simmer under low heat with the lid on for approximately 5 minutes. Taste.

Top Tip

The potato casserole tastes great alongside other meats, eg hamburger bites.
