Overnight oats

Instructions
Overnight oats
Two hours of soaking will be enough to make your overnight oats edible, but the best flavour comes from leaving them overnight – hence the name!
The traditional way to eat overnight oats is cold, straight from the fridge. If you prefer your breakfast warm, try heating in the microwave for a minute before eating. Keep in mind the texture will change as a result.
This recipe uses orange juice, but other liquids typically used to soak overnight oats include a variety of fruit juices, milk, or other dairy alternatives like oat or almond milk. You can even use water, though that won’t add any extra flavour.
If your overnight oats didn’t turn out well the culprit is likely either using the wrong amount of liquid, or not soaking them for long enough. Try altering the ratio next time, or simply leaving the batch to soak for longer.

Peanut butter and banana overnight oats
One of the classic overnight oats topping combinations is adding a dollop of peanut butter and sliced banana before serving.
Add these toppings for an extra touch of taste
There is really no right or wrong answer for toppings to add to your overnight oats. Tried and tested combinations like apple and cinnamon, granola and fruit compote or even crumbled dark chocolate work well. It’s also a great way to use any extra fruit you have lying around. Get creative!
Store your leftovers like this
Place your overnight oats in airtight containers and they should keep in the refrigerator for up to five days.
