Provided you do the preparation the night before, there’s nothing quicker than pulling overnight oats out of the fridge in the morning for a swift, tasty breakfast. Make a big batch and you can even have breakfast ready for the entire working week.
One of the classic overnight oats topping combinations is adding a dollop of peanut butter and sliced banana before serving.
There is really no right or wrong answer for toppings to add to your overnight oats. Tried and tested combinations like apple and cinnamon, granola and fruit compote or even crumbled dark chocolate work well. It’s also a great way to use any extra fruit you have lying around. Get creative!
Place your overnight oats in airtight containers and they should keep in the refrigerator for up to five days.
