Onion Sauce

Onion Sauce

Hot sauce made with crème fraîche - great for potatoes and/or meatballs.

Ingredients

Chopped White white onion
1
Water
50 ml
Creme fraiche
350 ml
Coarse salt
½ tsp
Freshly pepper
1 pinch

Instructions

Step 1

  • Put water and onions in a pan and bring to the boil.

Step 2

  • Cook the onions on a low heat with the lid on for approximately 5 minutes.

Step 3

  • Add the crème fraîche, salt and pepper and heat the sauce for approximately 3 minutes. Taste.

Step 4

  • Serve the sauce with potatoes, on meatballs or fried pork.
