Tips

Stir the pasta regularly to prevent it from sticking together while cooking to avoid lumps when you add it to the meat and tomato sauce. You can prepare one pot lasagna in advance. Simply do everything except add the cheese, and then cover and store it in the fridge. When you want to reheat it, take it out of the fridge, set it aside for about 20 minutes, and then reheat it gently on low heat, adding the cheese on top. You may need to add some water first as the pasta will soak it up in the fridge. If you are reheating frozen leftovers, let the one pot lasagna leftovers thaw in the refrigerator first for 24 hours. This method allows it to thaw slowly and possibly prevents it from losing its texture and becoming mushy. Once it is defrosted, bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20-30 minutes or until it is heated through and the cheese has melted.

How to make one pot lasagna?

It is possible to freeze one pot lasagna, but it can cause it to lose its texture and become mushy when thawed. Thus, it is important to prep the dish accordingly. First, make sure that it has cooled to room temperature. Then, transfer it to an airtight container or wrap it tightly in cling film and/or foil.
