Instructions

  • Mix espresso and amaretto. Dip half of the ladyfingers in the mixture and place them side by side in a shallow dish.
  • Separate the eggs and whisk yolks with icing sugar. Mix with lactose-free cream cheese.
  • Beat egg whites until stiff and carefully fold them into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers in the dish, dip the remaining ladyfingers in the espresso/amaretto mixture and place them on top of the cream cheese layer.
  • Add the rest of the cream cheese mixture on top. Smooth the surface evenly.
  • Cover with cling film and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Sprinkle generously with cocoa powder before serving.
