Healthy Waffles

Healthy Waffles

Healthy waffles made simply from flour and oat bran. They're a great alternative to regular waffles!

Ingredients

Butter
100 g
Meal flour
210 g
Oat bran
50 g
Roasted sunflower kernels
150 g
Flaxseed
80 g
Salt
2 pinches
Baking soda
1 tsp
Semi-skimmed milk
450 ml
Eggs
2
Cottage cheese
250 g
Blueberries
400 g

Instructions

Step 1

  • Melt the butter and let it cool. Mix flour, oat bran, seeds, salt and baking soda. Whisk in milk, eggs and butter for a smooth batter.

Step 2

  • Heat the waffle iron. Brush the waffle iron with a little butter. Pour in the batter and cook the waffles until golden brown.

Step 3

  • Serve them with cottage cheese and blueberries.
