Use high heat
Bake your bread rolls in a preheated oven at a high temperature, around 220°C (430°F). This encourages a crispy crust while keeping the inside soft and fluffy.
Steam for crustiness
Create steam in the oven during the first few minutes of baking by placing a shallow pan of hot water at the bottom of the oven. This helps to develop a crusty exterior.
Allow for rising time
Ensure that the dough has sufficient time to rise. A well-risen dough will have better texture and flavor. Consider doing a long, slow rise in the fridge overnight to enhance the taste and crustiness.
