Milk chocolate (about 30% cocoa)
300 g
Dark chocolate (about 55% cocoa)
100 g
Vanilla pod
1

Instructions

Step 1

  • Blend butter, flour, icing sugar, cocoa and salt in a food processor and blend for approximately 20 seconds - until the mixture is crumbled.

Step 2

  • Add egg yolks and knead quickly to create a dough. Put the dough into a loose-bottomed pie tin (approximately 22 cm in diameter) and press it well up the edges.

Step 3

  • Place the pie base covered in the refrigerator for approximately ½ hour.

Step 4

  • Prick the bottom with a fork and put the pie base in the middle of the oven to cook. Let it cool down on a baking rack.

Step 5

  • Chop the chocolate coarsely and put it in a bowl. Cut open the vanilla pod and scrape out the seeds. Put the vanilla pod, seeds, whipped cream and syrup in a saucepan and bring to the boil on steady heat, stirring.

Step 6

  • Pour the hot cream mixture over the chocolate and stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is uniform.

Step 7

  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the pie base and refrigerate it for at least 4 hours. Sprinkle flake salt over the pie and serve.

Baking Time

  • 10 minutes at 200 ° - hot air
Enjoy!

Tip

Add a little corn-starch to prevent your chocolate filling from becoming too runny.

Tip

Top with a dollop of whipped cream and shaved chocolate to turn it into a more luxurious dessert.
