Cheesy Kale Bowl

Cheesy Kale Bowl

Enjoy a bowl full of colour and the taste of beets, citrus and crispy cabbage! You can also replace the oats with rice if you prefer.

Ingredients

Feta
150 g
Wheat grains Berries
200 g
Red onion
1
Red wine Vinegar
1 tbsp
Liquid honey
2 tsp
Oranges
2
Cold Pressed colza oil
2 tbsp
Kale
200 g
Beetroot
1
Quark
250 g
Sweet almonds (Roasted And Salted)
100 g
Salt
1 tsp
Black pepper
1 pinch

Instructions

Step 1

  • Cook the wheat berries according to the instructions on the packet.

Step 2

  • Peel and chop the red onion finely and mix in the vinegar and honey.

Step 3

  • Halve one of the oranges and squeeze out the juice. Remove the hard stem from the kale. Mix the kale with the orange juice and oil.

Step 4

  • Peel and grate the beetroot roughly and mix with the quark. Salt and pepper.

Step 5

  • Chop the almonds roughly. Cut the orange into chunks. Divide the wheat berries and kale into bowls.

Step 6

  • Top with beetroot, crumbled cheese, onions, almonds and orange wedges.
