Mike and Amy Herridge Family
Derbyshire
The Herridge Farm, which is located in Derbyshire's Peak District, is all about family working together. Mike is a second-generation farmer, whose father moved to the farm in 1966 with his then 40 cows. Mike and Amy have 200 acres of High Level Stewardship land designed to help maintain wildlife conversation, enhance the landscape and protect natural resources. As well as looking after their 350 Holstein cows, they also grow crops, which in turn requires the use of another valued asset from the farm – muck!
Mike is one of 2,400 UK farmers in the Arla dairy cooperative. He hopes to pass the farm to his family for a third generation, with the added support from the Asda/Arla partnership. For every bottle of Farmers Milk sold, an extra 25P goes back to the farmers in the Arla cooperative, helping them reinvest in their farms, finding ways to continuously improve animal welfare and sustainable farming practice.

David Hyslop
Scotland
David's farm in Scotland highlights the importance of local traditions and the animals themselves. Summer on David's farm means starting at 4:30am to tend to the cows and completing seasonal work, such as silaging and harvesting (when the weather allows)! Across his two farms at Meinside and Brydekirk Mains, totalling 750 acres, he looks after 450 cows as well as utilising 100 of those acres to grow cereals.
He is a second-generation farmer, with his two sons taking the farms on as a third generation in his family. He is immensely proud of his sons for carrying on the family farming tradition. David is one of 2,400 farmers in the Arla cooperative of dairy farmers in the UK and as part of the Arla/ASDA partnership he produces Farmers Milk.

Jonny Burridge
Norwich
On Jonny's farm in Norwich, everything comes full circle. Summer on the farm means rising early to tend to crops and cattle. The cows have 24/7 access to grazing in the summer weather. In addition to a 230 strong herd, he grows cereal on the farm. He's a fifth-generation farmer, with two young children who will make the family farm home to generation six.
Jonny is truly mad about cows and often says no one else in the world loves cows more than he does! The cows are the star of his farm, which welcomes thousands of visitors each year on Open Farm Sunday. He even goes on tour with one of the girls – Jelly, the Jersey cow. Jonny is one of 2,400 farmers in the Arla cooperative of dairy farmers in the UK and as part of the Arla/ASDA partnership he produces Farmers Milk.
